Yesterday, Apple released the software update for Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9.2) that will patch the security vulnerability discovered this weekend. Apple also released software updates for Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) and Lion (10.7), as well as QuickTime for Windows. University IT recommends installing the software updates as soon as possible.
How to Update Mac OS X
- Back up your computer.
- Go to the Apple menu and click Software Update.
- Click Update. This update will restart your computer.
