If your computer is not joined to Active Directory, follow these instructions instead.


  • One of these supported desktop clients:
    • Microsoft Outlook 2013
    • Microsoft Outlook 2010
    • Microsoft Outlook 2007 (Service Pack 2 or higher)
      Upgrade to Outlook 2013 or 2010 for feature compatibility.
  • One of these supported web browsers:
    • Chrome (version 18+)
    • Firefox (version 12+)
    • Internet Explorer (version 9+)

Step 1

Launch Microsoft Outlook.

Step 2

In the user name field, enter your username@ur.rochester.edu email alias.

In the password field, enter the password associated with your user name account. Then click OK.

Step 3

Click OK and wait for Outlook to finish making the necessary changes.

Launch Outlook again.
