Cloud Computing for Research
The Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC) supports UR-Sponsored Cloud services (Azure & AWS) and On-premise High Performance Computing (HPC) for research. Services include centralized billing, UR-negotiated price discounts, training, trouble-shooting, and custom solutions to facilitate your computational research needs.
Data Center Hosted Colocation
The enterprise data centers provide flexible hosting solutions for primary, secondary, and disaster recovery to not-for-profit institutions that are similarly community focused. The University's data centers are industry best practice, highly reliable, and concurrently maintainable, with on-site monitoring, support, and triage 24/7/365.
Data Centers
The enterprise data centers are controlled access environments housing critical technology equipment, applications, and data. They are the hub of the University’s computing resources, which are shared by the academic, medical, research, and administrative communities.
File Servers
Each faculty and staff member is typically provided with a home share on a file server (sometimes called a network drive) to store their files. Departments or groups may also use file servers to store and share files that they are working on collaboratively.
Microsoft 365 OneDrive for Business
OneDrive for Business provides a place in the cloud where you can store and sync your work files. Update and share your files from any device and work collaboratively with others on Office documents.
