The IT department’s security team continuously advocates for their Top 10 Security Tips in which the IT communications department creates a semi-annual video to promote. The goal in this video is to raise awareness within the community to abide by the Top 10 Security Tips and how important it is to follow and reprocutions of ignoring simple practices. By referencing hacking terms and popular media culture, it was hoped we could gain attraction and interest and posted the video through various University affiliated websites, social media and electronic newsletter publications.
