The URID is a unique 8-digit number generated and assigned to all users for whom the University and its affiliates wish to maintain identity information. The URID is generated by the Unique ID System, which is managed by University IT.
For students, the URID is also considered the Student ID and can be referred to as their University ID.
How to Find your URID
- Faculty & Staff: Log into your Human Resources system or contact your Human Resources department. (The URID is different from your employee ID)
- Students: Student ID number can be found by logging into UR Student and accessing the summary tab on your profile page.
- Guests: Contact the sponsor of your guest (sponsored) account.
