What is a NetID?
Regardless of whether or not you need a UR or URMC Active Directory account, you will be provisioned with a NetID as well. A NetID provides the ability to reset and manage all university related passwords through myIdentity Self Service. Provisioning a NetID aids in uninterrupted access to applications as applications transition from NetID authentication to AD authentication in the future.
How do I reset my password(s)?
All University related passwords can be managed through myIdentity Self Service by logging in with your NetID and password.
What if I cannot remember my NetID and need to change my UR or URMC Active Directory account?
If you cannot remember your NetID, you can retrieve your NetID account name, by clicking the Forgot NetID? link on the myIdentity Self Service. login page and then inputting your URID and date of birth. If you cannot remember your URID, please contact your sponsor. Your URID is at the bottom center of your guest details page in the Guest Account System interface.

What if I can login to Citrix, but I am getting an error that my ePartner account is disabled?
ePartner accounts expire every six months, while your domain account expires every 13 months, so your domain account can be active, but your ePartner account can be expired.

How do I change my name?
Name changes can be requested by the end user, sponsor or Regional IT by contacting the ISD Help Desk at 275-3200 to have your URMC domain account renamed. After your URMC account is renamed, the ISD Help Desk will warm transfer you to the University Help Desk to have your NetID renamed after they have explained to the University IT Help Desk agent what is needed.
