In order to effectively protect sensitive employee information from recent email phishing attacks, the University’s Human Resource Management System (HRMS) portal has been placed behind the University’s firewall. That means online access to HRMS has been restricted to only allow logins from computers within the University network or over VPN (off-campus virtual private networking). University timekeepers have been notified through a separate email notification. Employees affected by the off-campus restriction and who need their HRMS information should contact the Payroll Office at (585) 275-2040.

Starting Thursday, October 3, employees can enter their NetID and employee ID number as an alternative to using VPN when logging in from off-site. More information.
