Printing Queues

When you send a print job, you have the ability to release that job from any Public Printing device. For example, if you send a print job in Gleason Library, you can release that print job from Gleason Library, or the IT Center, or any other public printing area.

What do the queues look like?

There are 2 queues that will appear on your computer (these names may differ slightly)

  1. RC B&W Printer for black and white jobs, at a lower cost
  2. RC Color Printer for color jobs

Benefits of Printing Queues

  1. Submit print jobs from any public or personal computer for printing anywhere
  2. Convenient printing across campus, not tied to a specific printer or location
  3. If a printer is out of service, you can use one in another area
