How do Box Hubs work?

Box Hubs are spaces for organizing and contextualizing content in Box. Files and folders added to a hub remain in the content owner’s Box account but are considered shared with everyone with access to the hub. Hubs are made up of pages, which can be organized into sections.

Who can create a Box hub?

Anyone with a University of Rochester Box account can create a Box Hub.

Who can we share a Hub with?

Hubs can be shared with individual collaborators or shared with the “People in your company,” which allows everyone with a University of Rochester Box account to access the Hub.

Who can share a Hub?

Only owners and co-owners can share Box Hubs.

What happens to content when a Hub is deleted?

Hub content remains in its original location when the Hub is deleted. Inactive Hubs will be deleted after 365 days of inactivity.
