As part of the University’s project to migrate away from using NetID, on October 29th, at 5:00 PM, the University Guest Account System will change from using NetID to using Microsoft Entra accounts, which are based on the UR and URMC Active Directory (AD) accounts. This is the same format and process for logging into Outlook Web Access and other Microsoft M365 web applications. The Entra username uses the format AD username@ur.rochester.edu for those with UR AD accounts. For those with URMC AD accounts, the Entra username is the URMC email address, such as First_Last@urmc.rochester.edu.

The current login screen will be replaced by a familiar one used by many other Microsoft M365 applications.
