University of Rochester Medical Center

The Information Systems Division (ISD) oversees the strategic execution and support of all technology needs of URMC’s vast clinical enterprises, as well as its education and research areas. More than 300 staff work in 12 divisions, and collectively manage everything from computers at workstations to the secure network that keeps information safe and secure to the massive servers that handle the enormous clinical, research and administrative data used by 17,800+ URMC faculty and staff members. ISD is primarily based out of Corporate Woods.  Miner Library maintains e-mail accounts for all students affiliated with the Medical Center and provides access to its extensive digital collections. Web Services offers support for Web developers at the Medical Center, including template guidelines and Adobe Contribute support.


School of Arts & Sciences and Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Information Technology Services offers desktop and laptop support for faculty, staff and students in Arts & Sciences and Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Available help includes Web Communications, Instructional Technology support, software installation, troubleshooting computer problems, pre-purchase consulting and technology purchases, virus protection, and peripheral and printer installation. In addition, some departments including Computer Science, Physics & Astronomy and Chemistry have additional technology support.


Eastman School of Music

The Technology and Media Production Department‘s (T & MP) mission is to meet the needs of the Eastman School community in providing exceptional technical skill and professional quality service, in the following areas: audio recording, computing services, and classroom technology.

River Campus Libraries

Visit www.library.rochester.edu/services to learn about the many services supported by the technology staff in Rush Rhees Library.  Services include online and in-person support for accessing library resources, research services, information on events and available library spaces for study and collaboration as well as instructional services that support teaching faculty and their courses.  Patrons are provided support with off-campus access (VPN), wireless access in the library, printing, copying and scanning services; there are public computing resources and software available in many locations.

Research & Academic IT provides a broad range of IT services including: desktop support, application development, systems administration, server and web hosting, IT consulting, and project management for the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and other affiliated organizations. School of Nursing

Information Technology Services strives to provide excellent IT customer support that enhances and supports the mission of the University of Rochester School of Nursing. The ITS team provides backup services, hardware, software, and project support for faculty, staff, and students.


Simon Business School

Simon Technology Services (STS) provides support to meet the needs of the Simon Business School community, seven days a week, throughout the academic year. They provide guidance on how to configure student laptops, available security and antivirus software as well as classroom technology support.


Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development

Warner School Information Technology Services offers desktop and laptop support for members of the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
