Step 1
At the top left is the icon to search and choose the person you wish to begin a conversation with.
Step 2
The square icon with the pencil in it will open the people picker box and the name of the person can be typed in and Teams will match it with the correct account.
Step 3
Once the name is selected, at the bottom of the screen you can begin exchanging messages with the person(s).
