Step 1

Launch the Zoom desktop application and sign in. On the home screen, you can click a + symbol under the Meeting tab. Click Schedule Meeting.

Step 2

On the next screen, you will have the ability to name your Zoom meeting, set the date/time and additional security settings such as:

  • Meeting ID
  • Passcode/waiting room
  • Video and audio options for participants and host

 

Step 3

Scroll towards the bottom to choose the calendar type and mail client you’d like the invite created for.

*Please Note: You may also need to look at advanced options to change other preferences (e.g., joining before the host, setting alternate hosts, etc.).

If you selected Outlook as the calendar type and hit save this will trigger Outlook to open a new calendar event with your Zoom info.
