Step 1

Launch the Zoom desktop application and sign in. On the home screen, you will have the option to click “Schedule”.

Step 2

On the next screen, you will have the ability to name your Zoom meeting, set the date/time and additional security settings such as:

  • Meeting ID
  • Passcode/waiting room
  • Video and audio options for participants and host

 

Step 3

Scroll down towards the bottom to choose calendar type and mail client you’d like the invite created for.

*Please Note: You may also need to look at advanced options to change other preferences (join before the host, set alternate hosts, etc.).

 

If you selected Outlook as the calendar type and hit save this will trigger Outlook to open a new calendar event with your Zoom info.
