UR Essentials

Full-time matriculated undergraduates will receive online textbooks and textbook codes as part of the UR Essentials program as long as you adopt them through the Barnes and Noble bookstore. Access to these materials is provided through the UR Essentials Digital Content tool, available in the Content Market (Ultra Courses).

Adding UR Essentials to your Course

 

  1. Navigate to the desired course.
  2. In the location where you want access to your digital materials, click the + sign and choose Content Market
  3. Locate the UR Essentials Digital Content tool (not the Deep Linking Tool) and click the + sign in the bottom right corner of the tool card.
  4. This will add a link to your Course Content area.
  5. The link will be hidden from students by default. Click the eye icon to make the link available to students.
  6. Click the link for UR Essentials Digital Content to verify that you can see your adopted materials.

When you are done, this tool will look like this in your course.

The Deep Linking Tool is for specific use cases, and you will be instructed by the Book Store on how and when to use that tool.
