Overview

This reference will explain the GPA Calculator report that can be used to see what your cumulative GPA potentially could be once you complete current “in progress” courses or courses you have already registered for in future semesters.

IMPORTTANT: This GPA calculation is an estimate only and is not your official GPA. In using this calculator, you acknowledge that the results are not official nor binding. Your official GPA appears on your academic transcript. If you have questions about your GPA, please contact your advisor.

Example of Academics Start

1. Log into UR Student, then navigate to the Academics app under UR Student in the global menu.
   TIP: If you cannot see UR Student in the global menu, click the More icon.



2. On the right side of screen, select GPA Calculator under the Academic Advising menu.



3. The report will display any courses you are currently taking, and courses you have already registered for in the future. You can select a grade in the dropdown list you think you might earn in each of the courses.
   NOTE: The dropdown has three “E” grades. You can choose any of them. Each one will be calculated the same in the GPA Calculator.
4. If you want to exclude one or more of the courses in the report from the GPA Calculator, you can Remove the course from the report.
5. Select Calculate GPA to run the report when all grades have been entered.



6. A results overlay will slide out from the right side of the screen and display the potential Cumulative GPA.
7. To rerun the report with new grade values, select New Scenario.



8. Select Cancel when you have completed using the GPA Calculator report.
