Account Initialization (New User)
Account Initialization is a one-time process that all new users (faculty, staff, students, and guests) must follow when joining the University of Rochester/Medical Center and its affiliates. This process allows for the initialization of all University accounts and enrollment of those accounts in our two-factor authentication solution, DUO Security.

MyHR (Highland Hospital and Long Term Care)
The MyHR (Workday) HCM service is the human resource system for employees at Highland Hospital, Highlands at Pittsford, Highlands Living Center, and Highlands at Brighton. Employees manage personal information, tax, and payroll elections while Managers perform everyday HR tasks for their team, all using a PC or mobile device.
myIdentity
myIdentity is a password management portal for account owners (faculty, staff, students, guests and affiliates) to change passwords and designate security questions for identity verification.
Project Portfolio Management
The Project and Portfolio Management Office oversees the overall IT portfolio functions that drive strategy, planning, delivery, and execution across departmental and enterprise impacting projects and programs. Provides oversight for several Service Centers, including the Project Management Office and multiple University help desks to ensure appropriate customer service levels
Secure File Transfer Protocol (MOVEit)
Automation is a requested process transferring files by automating repetitive tasks and allowing users to create sophisticated workflows that ensure files are sent, received, and processed according to predefined rules.
Transfer provides secure, managed file transfers between users, systems, and organizations, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of files transferred.
Virtual Desktops – Azure (AVD)
Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a university managed cloud service that allows faculty, staff, and students to access remotely deployed software and virtual desktops without installing the software directly on their personal computing devices. These can be accessed from Apple Macs, Chromebooks, Windows computers, and other computing devices.
Vulnerability Management
Security vulnerabilities introduce risk on our network, applications, and other infrastructure. Managing them involves identification through scans, prioritization, and providing stakeholders with guidance on remediation and mitigation. Our team also supports asset tracking, reporting, and other security testing processes like web application assessments.
