Use Duo Passcode to Log In to UR Financials (Workday)

If you selected Passcode when you enrolled your mobile phone, SMS text messages from Duo Security will be the default authentication method when you log in to UR Financials (Workday). Or you can use a D100 hardware token to generate passcodes without using your mobile phone. Follow the steps below to log in to UR Financials (Workday) with two-factor authentication.

Step 1

Go to the UR Financials login page. Click the Start UR Financials button.

Step 2

Enter your NetID and password, then click the Login button.

Step 3

Select the device from the dropdown menu and the method (Duo Push, Phone call, or Passcode) you would like to use to authenticate. Then click Log in.

Step 4

You will automatically receive a text message on your mobile phone that contains a numerical passcode.

Step 5

Type the number from the text message into the passcode field on your browser. Then click Log in.

Step 6

Once completed, you will be logged in to UR Financials (Workday).

Log in using an alternate device / method

If you would like to log in to UR Financials (Workday) using an alternate method (push notification or phone call) or an alternate enrolled device, you will need to append information to your password when you log in.
