Summary Description of the Change and the Impact of this Change on Users: InfoSec Systems Management will be upgrading the CylanceProtect agent to version 1560 on workstations connected to the University of Rochester Cylance console starting Tuesday, June 23rd. This will be a phased rollout, as agents check in for updates.

This installation will be silent to the user and will not require a reboot. While Systems Management does not anticipate functionality issues post upgrade, as past agent updates have been successfully completed,  please contact the team if you have questions or concerns.

CylanceProtect 1560 to University IT Test workstations

Date: Tuesday, June 23rd

Time: 8:00 PM

CylanceProtect 1560 to University IT Pilot workstations

Dates: Thursday, June 25th

Time: 8:00 PM

CylanceProtect 1560 to University IT workstations

Date: Monday, June 29th

Time: 8:00 PM

CylanceProtect 1560 to remaining University of Rochester workstations

Dates: Wednesday, July 1st, 2019 through Wednesday, July 8th

Reason for the Change :

Updating the Cylance agent to the latest version allows our organization to avail of CylanceProtect agent functionality and feature improvements.
