As part of the University’s project to migrate away from using NetID, on November 14th, the International Student Systems, including URCompass, and Sunapsis will change from using NetID to using Microsoft Entra ID accounts, which are based on the UR and URMC Active Directory (AD) accounts. The Entra username uses the format ADusername@ur.rochester.edu for those with UR AD accounts. For those with URMC AD accounts, the Entra username is the URMC email address, such as First_Last@urmc.rochester.edu.

Entra ID usernames are unrelated to specific email aliases; for example, username@simon.rochester.edu, username@esm.rochester.edu, or first.last@rochester.edu will not work; you must use your ADUsername@UR.Rochester.edu or First_Last@URMC.Rochester.edu.

The current login screen will be replaced by a familiar one used by many other Microsoft M365 applications.
