Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a global initiative that raises awareness about online safety and empowers individuals and businesses to protect themselves from cybercrime. This year’s theme “stay safe online” focuses on 4 areas where everyone can make a difference:
- Use strong pass phrases and a password manager
- Turn on multifactor authentication
- Recognize and report scams
- Update your software
Even small steps like these can make a big difference in protecting you and the University.
