To strengthen online security and protect against fraudulent activity, we ask everyone with University and Medical Center accounts to enroll in two-factor authentication (2FA) using Duo.
Access to a system or application or remote access requires two methods of verification: logging in with a valid username and password and confirmation through Duo – a notification from the Duo app, a phone call, a text message, entering a code or other method. Two-factor authentication helps protect your account and our organization from the effects of phishing, brute-force attacks, credential exploitation and more.
Select from the options below to enroll in Duo. You will be required to log in using either your University NetID, University Active Directory and/or URMC Active Directory credentials, before setting up your devices.
If you need help enrolling in Duo or accessing systems remotely, call the University Help Desk at (585) 275-2000 or ISD Help Desk at (585) 275-3200.
